After being attacked by a gang thanks to Felicia Hardy (whom he locked up in the previous game, Spider-Man manages to make the ringleader tell him where he got his weapons. Skipping ahead two years later, Spider-Man is out on patrol now searching for the killer. Peter investigates and to his horror discovers Uncle Ben lying on the ground bleeding, where he eventually dies. He begins walking home when he hears someone cry for help and a gunshot sounds off. The cashier asks for Peter's help but Peter says "not my problem" and walks away. The game begins with Peter Parker having a flashback of him drinking a bottle of chocolate milk when a burglar raids a store. It was unveiled during the 2013 New York Comic Con. The Xbox One version was going to be delayed, but was released alongside the other platforms digitally while the release of physical copies was delayed by two weeks. It was released on in Europe, and Apin Australia. It was released on many consoles including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and PC on Apin North America.
